Creativity is sometimes an elusive state within the artistic process, at moments carrying us like a wave, and others leaving us suspended with nothing.
In this workshop, we will explore ways we can engage with and cultivate creativity through process and experimentation. Participants will learn three basic methods of hand-building with clay, and create an ephemeral work of art while discussing the ways we can show up to our creative process through practices of curiosity, imperfection, and listening.
Lane Clark will be joining as a guest speaker, bringing themes from her work of supporting overachievers and creative professionals to bring more ease and self-trust into their work and cultivate growth in a way that unwinds life-long perfectionist habits.
All works will be recycled after the workshop. Materials and tools provided.
